My name is Sheilena and I am a full spectrum doula, birth photographer, educator and student midwife.
Hello!
If I have been to a city I probably know where a coffee shop is.
I love the PNW gray skies and colder days; taking walks, dancing in the rain, and welcoming babies on stormy nights are some of my favorite things!
I love supporting families through this transitional period, and I'm in it for the long haul. Have a worry at 3am and 15weeks pregnant... reach out, need a referral or advice when your baby is 10months old... lets grab coffee and chat about it. Myself and my team become a part of your village and we don't leave.
If I'm off call then I am most likely wrapped up in a blanket with a book a warm beverage.
Our system is broken, and it is one of the reasons I am so passionate about this work. People deserve and have the right to an autonomous and supported pregnancy and birth. I work hard to make sure that my clients are educated and prepared for their births, while also being there in the moment to provide advocacy and support when needed.
